Brady's First Christmas

Brady had a wonderful first Christmas with family. He celebrated Christmas Eve with the Smith's in Ashland. His Nana and Grandad hosted their traditional breakfast on Christmas morning, making breakfast for 29 guests. Then, Brady came to Louisville on Christmas Day and celebrated with the Jenkins'. His Grandpa and Grandma hosted Christmas dinner, then everyone watched Brady open his gifts. The day after Christmas, Santa brought Brady a rocking horse and a few treats for his stocking.

The first of many, many gifts that Dad will put together! Enjoy Dad!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

This past weekend, Brady was very busy visiting with his family. He traveled to Ashland where he and Jill played and wore their matching pjs (thanks Jill for the pjs!). Next, he stopped by his Uncle Bob's. Then, he went to a Montavon family Christmas party at Jane and Jack's house. There, Brady saw everyone from his great grandmother Rosemary to Santa Claus. What a party!

Oh Christmas Tree!

Even though the pictures are several weeks old, here is Brady admiring the Christmas tree for the first time. Lucky for his Mom and Dad, he is not very interested in the Christmas tree (of course, he is more interested in the box the tree was in!).

The Paramount Arts Center in Ashland has an annual Festival of Trees and Lights. Brady, Mom, and Nana enjoyed seeing the beautifully decorated Christmas trees but Brady most enjoyed watching the model train. Brady met Santa for the first time and had his picture taken with him by a wonderful photographer (his aunt Julie)!

This week, Brady has made a lot of progress with crawling - he can now crawl backwards. He is also starting to learn to balance himself when standing. We are amazed everyday how much he is changing!

Gotta go brady-proof the house!

Brady's First Halloween

On Halloween eve, Brady helped Dad clean out the inside of the pumpkin then he carved his first jack-o-lantern with Dad. For Halloween, Brady dressed up in his spider costume and visited family and friends. With all the parties, tricks, and treats, Brady has decided Halloween is his favorite holiday!

Brady was the cutest trick-or-treater to visit Grandma and Grandpa Jenkins!

Brady's First Halloween Party!

On Sunday, Brady hosted his first Halloween party and invited all of his friends. They all came dressed and ready to party (sort of)! We were having too much fun watching the babies to remember to take pictures but here are a few.

Does it get any cuter than this?

Brady went to Ashland so Aunt Julie could take his picture. Honestly, does it get any cuter than this? Thanks Julie (I can't wait to see the rest)!

Unbelievable.....

Brady only knows UK football as being a top ranked program but his Mom and Dad remember when the best part of UK football was the tailgating. Not anymore! On Saturday, UK beat #1 ranked LSU and Brady was there through the third overtime win (5 hours). Brady tailgated with his cousins, cheered on the Cats, and took some naps in between plays.

Go Blue!
