Brady saw Scotty, the baby elephant, who is the same age as Brady. I think you can barely see Scotty beside his mother in the picture.
I think Brady was a big fan of the gorillas, especially after he got up close and personal with this one.
I think Brady's favorite part of the zoo didn't involve any of the animals. He could have watched the train all day.
It was time to go, but first it was feeding time for the giraffes (feeding cost $1). Brady's mom and dad quickly learned that the zoo staff do not take credit or have change.
It was a wonderful day! Hopefully, the first of many zoo trips this year!

The zoo was always one of my favorite places to go with Jordi, too. It's a great way to spend some time outdoors while learning the names of all the animals! Jordi always liked petting the goats - where are your pictures from that??! (just kidding) And, by the way, Alison, your hair looks great!
I think Brady's made a new friend. I'm sure there will be lots of visits this spring & summer to see the gorillas at the zoo.
